As our road trip approaches, I've decided to research road trip essentials. Here are some of my findings.
- Plan your trip and have a map or GPS handy
- Pick your designated drivers and drive in shifts if necessary
- Have an awesome music library that appeals to the whole company
- Make sure that all members of your traveling crew are "on the same page" as you and that your personalities match
- It's easy to overeat on a road trip, so be strong and stick to your regular diet
- Pack a first aid kit - you never know...
- Play "road trip" games for those long boring drives or traffic jams
- Small gift certificates for Tim Hortons or such, so you can stop for coffee frequently on the way and not worry about cash
- Bring healthy and nutritious snacks to avoid frequent stops
- Have all essential cleaning items ready: wet naps, hand sanitizer, Kleenex, etc.
- A camera - probably the most important item on the packing list because you will need proof of your grandiose trip
All apple products are essential! Some air freshener could also be useful, it can get quite stuffy and smelly in a car after a while.
